Resound Nexia launched in Singapore in 2024 is a compact powerhouse hearing aid. It offers extended battery life, accelerometer, BiCROS capability, Bluetooth LE 5.2 and Bluetooth’s latest innovation – Auracast. With Auracast, Nexia not only has the ability to stream audio from Android and MFi devices but also receive Auracast broadcasts – available in airports, arenas, bars and restaurants over the next few years.

The ReSound Nexia utilizes a groundbreaking approach to sound processing. Instead of amplifying all sounds equally, it uses enhanced sound processing to determine which sounds should be prioritized. This is achieved through two independent sound processors – one focusing on sounds in the foreground, and another handling background sounds. The result is a clearer soundscape for the wearer, particularly in noisy environments like restaurants or business meetings.
The Nexia also features Acoustic-Motion Sensors, which recognize the wearer’s movements and adjust sounds and directional microphone strategy accordingly. This ensures that you’re always hearing the most relevant sounds, no matter how you’re moving or where you are.
